C.S. Services Denia is a multi operational company. We have 4 main functions: Surveying, Supervision of New Builds, Supervision of Renovations or Reforms and finally Diagnostic and Remedial work.
The Surveying section provides services just as you would expect to receive in the UK.
For those of you wishing to purchase a plot of land with a view to building your own dream home, we can assist you in this aspect too. Please contact us for further details of plots which are available to buy.
Project and Construction Supervision covers 2 areas of the company.
Supervision of New Builds
We visit the site and check on the progress of the work beginning with the foundations, moving through all other aspects of the construction process, right up to completion and the final handover to the client.

Supervision of Renovations/Reforms
This section of the company deals with older types of property, e.g. houses, villas, fincas etc., which are purchased by clients who then decide to upgrade and modernise these properties to new standards. The basic shell is left intact but new materials are used to bring the property up to date. These take in many different styles, however, they are all completed to the new building standards which are now in force in Spain.

Diagnostic and Remedial Work
This part of the company can be faced with some very difficult situations and finding a solution is not always easy. The picture shows how, by doing work without first checking the state of the boundary wall of the property, what can happen if you just blunder on regardless. The wall may start to lean out and then crack which needs some rapid thinking to put right before further work can be carried out. A large concrete base supported by a solid block buttress will have to be constructed to prevent the whole wall falling down.

An agreement has been reached and established by the Directive 89/48/CEE, between “Consejo General de la Arquitectura Tecnica de Espana” and the Chartered Institute of Building in the United Kingdom.
This agreement recognises each member country’s professional qualifications and allows members to practise their profession on their own account and on behalf of others in a different country from where they acquired their qualifications.
You can therefore be assured that the Spanish authorities recognise our

of the Chartered Institute of Building in 1980 and his most recent upgrade took place in February 2004.
Take the trouble to check out other Surveyors/Building Engineers and find out if they are affiliated to CGATE,
if not, you may be taking a risk by employing them. For your own peace of mind, only use people who are
professionally accepted by the Architects’ College here in Spain.
